His confidence will be tested every game, he is an SEC QB.
The opposite of killing his confidence is building it up. At some point his mentality will be forged in fire.
I have heard for months about Simms arm... I was at the Orange and White game and I saw first hand Brays arm. I do not give a big harry rats bottom about what the media says about Simms arm. Now can Simms "mind" lose or win the game, yes.
But if his mind was at 100 % tonight then bring on bray. I will take his laser throwing mistakes over waffle passing anyday.
Kids a pot head. Come on. Let's not avoid the elephant in the room. And Crompton only got better because Kiffin shrank his reads to half the field. I don't want Crompton 2.0. I'd rather have a seasoned Bray who starts game 1 next year with about 9 games under his belt working with Hunter and Rogers and Oku and they're all on the same page.
Good lord, where oh where have I heard this before? You guys, it's going to be a long season. Get over it. Simms is the QB, and that's probably not going to change. And Bray is not an upgrade at this point. We don't have a savior on this team at the QB position. Our best bet is to get the players we have ON THE FIELD better and more ready to play and let them continue to improve.
Well said. Simms played well for the first half. I can't believe people are so fair-weathered that they are trying to get rid of him already.
