Right. Had FSU not released him he would have been sitting for 2 years.His appeal that he won was to get him released from FSU. Once he gets enrolled at UT then the school will have to file an appeal to the NCAA for a waiver so he can play this year without sitting out a year. He must be enrolled first and the appeal has to be filed by UT.
Asking about this is pointless. I dont think anybody really knows the answer. Some people say NCAA has to grant appeal. Some people say NCAA has nothing to do with it now. Guess I'll just wait on an actual article on volquest.
