Brandon Warren transfering to UT?

I hate to get a guy under those circumstances, but I think he probably needs to be close to his mom.

My thoughts exactly.

If he came to UT I would him rather play DE than TE. He is too short to play TE IMO.

He is taller than Brown. Since when did height become a big-time determinant of being a great TE? He will play TE because he really wants to play offense instead of defense. He could be a great DE but his preference is TE. And, if we tell him we are going to stick him at DE he might have second thoughts about transfering to UT.

The word is over at Volquest is that he will remain at FSU. If he does come to Tennessee then it will be because the NCAA lets him use the "Hardship" transfer and he will be eligible for next season.

Warren said it's just a rumor.

"My mom has been real sick and my sister was going to school here but she went back home to help take care of my mom," Warren said. "I'm not saying I thought about transferring, but it would be better if I was closer to my mom. Having said that, I'm not going to transfer."
