The 2.2 million people behind bars, mainly for something drug related, disagree with you.

That has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not the illegality reduces the number. I also think that having 2.2 million people behind bars for drug related crimes is asinine.

Which is interesting considering you can crash inebriated and die (We 've all heard the stats since high school) but millions choose to do so in spite of the law and it's repercussions.

It's almost like people that want to kill people are not worried about the legality of it.

There are millions that avoid it, or at least do it a lot less because of the illegality.

Ok, Luther. Answer these questions, every one of the mass shooting killers knew murder was illegal before killing innocent people. Did the laws against murder stop them?

Further, the maniac that ran over 80+ people in Nice France knew murder was illegal before killing those people, did it stop him?

The bomber in Texas knew murder was illegal before shipping those packages, did the law stop him?

People don't kill people.
Guns, cars, bombs, planes, knives, alcohol, drugs....do.

No
No
No
And your point? Let me guess. The fact that the act was illegal did not stop the criminal from committing the act.

But here's my question for you. Did the fact that murder was illegal stop Les Williams from shooting up the IHOP in Little Rock?

It’s really f’ed up how the media is trying to compare this to the civil rights movement. One was fighting for rights, one is fighting to take them away from others. I don’t understand adults “listening” to kids who have at best a very rudimentary understanding of the constitution, at worst they don’t understand one bit of it. They just have feels and we should act on that.

They are 17 year old kids. In democrat world, they are the smartest people in the room.

So we agree legalizing heroin would not change the rate of use? In that case, I can’t see a reason to keep it illegal.

Beyond “I like wasting tax money”

We do not agree. Legalizing would increase the rate of usage. Many of the newly addicted would resort to crime to pay for their legal drug.

NRA picked up hundreds of thousands of new members.

Delta lost a huge fuel tax credit.

Cops got a crap ton of overtime "protecting" marchers.

All this thanks to useful idiots who were embraced, encouraged, funded, furnished with signs and media access, and transported by the liberals.

They spent a ton of money to pay for this, and got new NRA members and Delta's fuel. Oh...and overtime for cops they secretly hate.

And accomplished nothing. Go figure.
