The Declaration of Independence is a proclamation. That’s it. It’s a statement of intent. It is NOT the foundation of government in our country and you are being disingenuous in stating such.

Getting involved in a public disagreement with Trump is probably being viewed as a massive pain in the ass by members of the GOP.

I'd guess that having the most powerful man in the world basically make fun of you in the media is hard in both your public and private life.

Let's face facts here, the bump fire stocks always toed the line on legality. A whole lot of gun folks like myself asked "WTF" when the ATF said they were okay.

I'm indifferent to the matter of bump stocks and can't be passionate like DTH about it. If we have them, fine. If they are made illegal, I'm not losing sleep.

Leave my mags and ARs alone, though...

If Delta has thought something like this thru their life would have been easier today. I don’t believe the Lt Gov of GA will follow thru with that. But the shock value is priceless.

Bingo. back at you....the laws (speed limits) can and are changed as circumstances warrant. You agree that we have laws and the right to make laws. That also means we have the right to change and adjust those laws as needed.

But when those laws are broken we don't punish the ones that haven't broken the law. I really like your car analogy. We don't take law abiding citizens cars away because others are irresponsible and abuse the laws, we punish the ones that break the law.
