Bowl is not over yet

I hope you all get what you want.

I understand that traditionally the Gator Bowl has a name that people know. But, the Music City is a better bowl.

If fans would rather have fun in Jacksonville than Nashville, cool.

But, technically, at this point in time, the Music City is better.
Cool story, bro. Tell it again.

Exactly. Nashville is a town to go for conventions and bridal parties. Nothing special. Jax isn’t special either but a better bowl against a better opponent and beaches
Except it’s not a “better bowl” in what matters... 💵 $$$

But hey, who cares what would help the school we pull for more!

Don't really care what a chart says or the fact the MCB pays out a little more cash. Playing a game on Dec 30 at 3pm on a work day is a potentially crappy cold day is definitely not "better" than playing on Jan 2 in prime time. In this case perception overrides a technicality.

From that point of view, I'm not sure it is going to matter either.

I don't see too many people circling the calendar on Thursday night to make sure they catch Tennessee vs. Indiana.

That screams "Netflix/Disney+ night".

$200k is meaningless. UT makes $3.8 million every home game. There’s a reason the players and even Fulmer are convincing the SEC that UT doesn’t want to go to Nashville. Now live with it

Well, people in Tennessee won’t stay in nashville for hotels and spend money on a weekday. They will drive up and leave. But you tell them they can go to a beach and make a decent trip, they will book hotels and stay.
Look at the attendance numbers(bowl game wise). More people go to the MCB when it’s Vols than the Gator or TaxSlayer.

LOL good point. But they stand a better chance than they do when people are still at work or in rush hour traffic.

Look at what it does for tourism, which is what you asked. More people will stay in hotels and longer in FL. And we will sell out a FL bowl. The MCB sucks, it needs to move it’s time slot. Nobody wants a 4pm workday Monday bowl game

I agree the MCB is probably better but opponent means a lot.
