Iowa State (8-4) has apparently also joined Kansas State in turning down a bowl bid.

Til I learned there's an Xbox Bowl. Looks like it replaced the Bahamas Bowl.

Sure...I definitely would rather go to Frisco, TX over the Bahamas in December....said no one ever.

Illinois in Nashville...you can feel it on the winds.

The ACC is probably scrambling right now to rearrange their bowl matchups before everything has to be announced in the next hour.

Not only having to swap out for whatever changes Miami being in made when they were expecting no playoff teams, but also they have to account for how Notre Dame can sub-in for an ACC bowl bid…with the Irish now having to decide which one they want

The ACC champ goes to what? The Gator Bowl?

I would think they reward Duke with a game in FL…but it could just as easily be the Gator Bowl as the Pop Tarts Bowl…or the Holiday Bowl or even being rewarded with essentially a home game for their fans at the Mayo Bowl.

There’s nothing structured or precedent wise for where their conference champion goes if they don’t make the playoff field (I’d presume if it were to happen with either the SEC or Big 10, the Citrus Bowl would catch said conference champion).

Looking like reports of Vanderbilt vs Iowa in the Reliaquest Bowl

And LSU vs Houston in the Texas Bowl (surprised by that, thought they’d slot Missouri there).
