It’s every program.
We just pay attention to ours

Edit: good programs anyway. 4-5*s are almost always head cases. Being a big time program coach has to be like herding cats

Personally I’m already tired of hearing about it. Very little patience for these primadonnas after the Nico episode. Either he gets on board with 100% commitment or don’t let the door hit you in the butt on the way out. And I think 99.9% of Vol Nation would agree with that and wouldn’t look back or second guess the dismissal. Just weary of all of this mess.

Let's get one thing straight. All the talk show host podcasters and YouTubers are in it for one thing and one thing only. Latched on to that big orange tit for the MONEY 🤑. They are not doing it for free and not for the good of the program.

Y’all are hilarious. No one in here has any clue what’s going to happen.

Every day that passes he’s further and further behind the 8 ball.

My prediction is he will be on this team. I don’t think Heupel could keep the lid on him departing until the 29th if he was going. Boo would announce where he was going.

Heupel dictating that he will speak on it at media day tells me he’s going to control the narrative. No way you have that control if the kid is out the door.

The Nico stuff was so out of control they were forced to speak. He was gone and they had to say it. PR 101, stay out in front of the situation.

The staff is calm and cool on this one. Read the room.

I wonder how this is going down for the team. Some of the guys are probably getting that last bit of fun in before Fall Camp. Some guys are probably working doubly hard to get ready to fight for a starting or backup spot.

It's annoying for us but I wonder what his teammates actually think about this and about how it got to this point. Last year Pearce goes cruise control, Nico does them dirty after Spring Camp, and now Boo seems to be out of touch. I hope they come together as a team for each other, get a chance to vent and rage about this, then Fall Camp can let them see how good working together can be vs being selfish.

The word was that Boo isn't answering Heupel's calls so I'm not sure he WANTS him back at this point. If a player won't answer to his coach, he's not the kind of guy you need around the locker room.

Whether he's "behind the eight ball" or not, Heupel has a team to coach, not a bunch of selfish individuals...... a team with men who act like teammates and respect their coach.

If the reports of going AWOL on team meetings and not answering the phone are true, you don't just get to come back because "there's nowhere for you to go." He's just not THAT good.

Exactly. None of this should be surprising.

Along with the above, he was late at CCS to football functions causing punishment for the entire. He didn’t care to the point teammates wanted to take care of it themselves.

Anyone curious why Boyd Buchanan wouldn’t allow him to come thus he went to CCS?

I hope for his sake he starts listening to better influences and takes advantage of the good opportunities he has. If not it could turn out bad for him if ends back up in Chattanooga with the wrong crowd.

Just like you and just like me everything we AS VOL FANS publicly say and do can impact the program. His platform of course multiplies his impact.

What is the value add of stirring the BOO pot while Coach and the squad is dealing with it? Is pushing more trailer trash level reactions a good thing?

Legitimate fact sharing is of course always in play, the vast majority of the dialog on talk shows and in these boards is not a plus in any shape form or fashion. BUT there is a massive amount of it.

I agree with your last sentence. We’ve all seen flashes of talent but it hasn’t been at a level that demands all of this attention. If he has to go, I’m not going to slit my wrists.
