Thamel says didn't also, so I guess ESPN had it wrong before. Two paragraphs of the article from today. He entered Tulane as a walk on because he doesn’t have a degree yet.
Looks like Boo has pissed off teammates by missing workouts. Tony said they don't want a repeat of James Pearce last year. I won't be shocked is Huep don't suspend him and maybe even kick him off the team. It would suck hard but you cant have a cancer in the locker room I don't care how talented he is.
I wouldn't put any stock into what Basilio said seeing as though he pulled his 'sources' from a message board post. 1. There are rumblings that he has missed some things the last little bit with his team. Now, I don't know for sure that he has and if he has why and if they were in anyway excused.
2. There has been a rumor of some issue with him in Chattanooga and I haven't heard anything concrete on that.
So you have two separate rumor deals here.
What comes of any of it is anyone's guess right now if anything at all.
Why BYU's handling of Retzlaff's exit mattersESPN article says he does not have a degree:
"Retzlaff's transfer is an unconventional one in the mechanics of how it worked. Because of the timing of his decision to leave BYU, he couldn't enter the NCAA transfer portal. (He was just short of his earning his degree.) Instead, he withdrew from school and plans to enroll at Tulane and technically will walk on to the team, per sources. Sources: Ex-BYU QB Retzlaff to transfer to Tulane
