But.....he’s not. At least four of those guys. You definitely argue he’s better than Waters.
Bone is great but he’s not a top 5 PG in the country. Coby White not on this list is a bigger crime.
Agree, except for the outplaying both H2H part. Bone didn’t face Waters (injured), and he and Perkins both had sorry days shooting in their matchup. Perkins was 0-6, 0 pts, 9 assts, 1 TO, and Bone was 2-13, 5 points, 9 asst, 3 TOs.I think a case can be made that Bone deserves it over Perkins or Waters...Bone’s numbers are better than Waters and almost mirror Perkins, add in that Bone outplayed both H2H.
Level of competition does matter, and Bone has become one of the Top 5. No one, absolutely no one, has a great game every time out.Agree, except for the outplaying both H2H part. It is hard for me to dismiss the level of competition Bone, or Coby White for that matter, faces every day vs someone like Perkins or Morant. That isn’t to dismiss what those guy have done, and I’m certainly not suggesting Morant he moved off the line in favor of Bone. A lot of worthy candidates.

Unfortunately, I think they have seen that Bone has made too many mistakes/turnovers in certain situations..... like late shot clock execution....
