JG looks like Peyton Manning and has 450 yards passing, but Tennessee's defense leaks like a 60 year old woman's bladder and UT loses in double overtime 49 to 56.

Bold Prediction: The game looks a lot like the GA State loss, unprepared, poor qb play, over rated offensive line. SC wins. Sorry sunshine pumpers!

I am not a "sunshine pumper" but I think you're wrong because...

- I think the slow starts the last two years have been a focal point this camp.
- There are more Pruitt players meaning more players have bought into the culture.
- We were missing Bryce Thompson and Bituli who were KEY pieces to our defense.

I believe we will see a completely different energy and performance in our first game.

Thanks for a good opposing opinion. The start of this game maybe is more critical than ever. Another slow start means a clear pattern of poor coaching and preparedness. A fast start may mean great progress toward a successful season. BTW Basillio says heavy money now going against Tennessee. I dont know if there is an underlying reason.

Our Vols look the best they have in years to start the season, SC keeps it close til the third quarter, then UT blows it open. And because of such an incredible game, there are no more political posts on here the rest of the year. (You did say bold predictions, right?)

Our bone crunching OL makes SC stack the LOS which opens up the play action passing. D is solid and we win by 14.
