You do have a point there. One of the best defenses in CFB history. Yet most college football fans I talk to think that Tennessee was one of the least talented teams in the BCS era to win a national championship.

Seriously though, I heard Kiffin being interviewed by Bill Meade (local sports radio) and he said he was dissapointed BJ quit. Said that BJ had improved all spring and there has been NO starter named yet. Also said that in the final meeting he had with BJ, nothing was said (by BJ I assume) that would lead him to believe that BJ was so upset about the situation that he would quit.... Sorry if I have rehashed old news, but I'm late getting on here this evening and I thought it interesting considering it came from the horsies mouth.

IMO, BJ was mad he wasn't annointed the starter after the spring game and he 'picked up his toys and went home'.

well guys, i have an inside source and monte said,
just kidding I sure hate losing BJ for the depth reason
as well as i think he would have took over the qb job by mid season
doubt he would of held onto it after kiff gets his guy
