I kind of doubt their lawsuit is even going to get to that point. There's something in the documents from the initial decision they do not want to be revealed in the discovery phase of the lawsuit by the Nebraska players.
Any word on the PAC12? Are they gonna be the only major conference to not play this year?I kind of doubt their lawsuit is even going to get to that point.
The Big Ten (for whatever reason you might ascribe to it, political or not) tried to strongarm the other conferences into cancelling by getting out ahead of them and cancelling their season. Nobody else except the Pac 12 went along with it, and now that we've had a couple weekends of games + the SEC still appears set to play, they've changed their mind.

Pac 12 had their own reason for cancelling the season outside of pandemic concerns (the United thing) and were of one accord. You’re dead on with the Big 10 strong arming other conferences angle. On the VQ podcast, they discussed Warren and whether he’s taking undue heat. I’d say no. He was very dismissive of other conferences going the other way and talked a tough game concerning any schools making their own decisions. I think he “resigns” sooner rather than later...and good!I kind of doubt their lawsuit is even going to get to that point.

Politics drove that decision. They just discovered everyone else isn't willing to jump off the bridge with them, much to their dismay, while they clean the egg off their collective faces.I would like to fine tune the two key paragraphs of that article. Here's how they would read, more honestly:
It looks as if Big Ten football is on its way back. After postponing fall sports, including football, on Aug. 11, the Leaders and Legends conference discovered that most of the football world doesn't, after all, follow them. The embarrassment was legendary.
As a face-saving measure, the Big Ten medical subcommittee presented new testing options on Saturday, all of which were available one month ago when the conference cancelled its season. These "new" testing options appear to give the Big Ten’s steering committee a face (saving) mask as it reverses its really stupid initial move while pretending that science drives its decisions.
Go. Vols.
PAC 12 just screwed their recruiting for the next few years IMO.I kind of doubt their lawsuit is even going to get to that point.
