Big huge big monster recruiting weekend goin on right now ...

I've never recruited or been recruited, enough to speak of, but I would imagine it hinges much more on the 'salesmanship' of the recruiter. Quality of product carries weight, no doubt, to the astute ones, but the pitch seems like it'd be the deciding factor if there's a potential tipping point.

Having said that, why can't we have a big name hire....ever. Is our house built on a First Nation graveyard or something???

How’d that workout?

Damn, your musical conversations bout as dumb as your coaching search conversations. Lol.

If you are classifying Anne Murray as a “great” singer then your self evaluation may need reassessment. You are very quick to point out other’s stupidity 🤔

This is a little off topic but Kayvon Thibodeaux just committed to Oregon over Bama and Florida so at least that's one less guy we have to face every year.

15th in the country with a few likely big booms to come ? We're doing fine Sally.
TN needs to finish no lower than third in the SEC to move the needle towards winning more than six games. National rank irrelevant except for how the Vols stack up against who they actually play. Need to hit a few recruiting home runs this year.

Mom loved her so evaluate this!

So did mine but I don’t listen to my mother’s music. My grandmother listened to Flatt and Scruggs but I am not jamming out to them either. I wanted to be able to actually date a woman and if I had Anne Murray she would justifiably question my orientation

I said she was very talented.

And all I meant about your conversation being dumb was, you called me old because I knew of a song by Anne Murray. You know a song, probably all the words to it, by James Lord Pierpont that was released right after the inauguration of James Buchanan in May of 1857. Jingle Bells is the song. I believe by your deductions, you're way older than I am.

I was just joking anyway, no need to get butthurt.

Weren't the Raiders 7-6 when he got fired? You're exaggerating. UT is a major football school historically, accepting mediocrity because the dice were rolled on Lane isn't for me. Why can't we have nice things?

That would be a great thing to find out early, in my opinion. You don't want any part of a judgmental bish.

There are multiple examples of Tennessee losing commits due to another team's OC or our lack of the right OC. If anyone here thinks a serious NFL potential offensive player skill player doesn't care about the OC at the school he signs with, I've got a great deal on the Gay Street bridge for you.

You wanted big name! I don’t care what the raiders record was. He was “offensive genius “. Big name of the time. Big enough that USC hired him away the next season.

You just lost all cred, when you said “Butch had a top 5 class or 2”.
On paper only is the reality of his classes!
If you’re still worried about ranking then you’ve learned nothing the past few years
Yeah. Having top rated recruiting classes is for losers. Just look at Bama, UGA, OSU, etc. They always get the top classes and they suck.

Which of those 5 in front of us has won a combined 2 SEC games the past 2 seasons?

Let me reiterate. We're recruiting very well for our situation.

Actually we are recruiting very well for our situation, however, we need to recruit extremely well to transcend “our situation”.

I dont care what you say or do, bru...but...maybe don't pick a fight with the guy that owns the playground.
Freak and I had a difference of opinion. That’s called a debate. He was respectful, as so was I. As for the others, I respond in kind.

The problem with *most of our top rated classes and your theory is that Bama wasn't after them.
Many would have been stars in a different system and different conference.

Name ONE commit we lost due to not having an OC.
