Welcome to the board, fadeproof. I really hope it ends up being a close game, but I think David #1 will DESTROY our young secondary, and David #2 will sit on top of our QB's all day long, but hopefully our loss to Auburn Saturday night will have them better prepared. For now, that's all we can hope for, but regardless of what happens...

IT'S GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOL!!!!!

Being a Georgia native,I have experienced first hand the rudeness of Georgia fans.I don't get it.What's the deal?

I have nothing against Georgia football,they have a great program going on down in Athens.It's the fans that downright suck.

Sorry bout the avatar just team pride. As for the rudeness of some UGA fans sorry about past incidents we all have our bad apples just dont let them speak for the entire DAWG nation. I have great respect for the VOLs and dont intend to disrespect anyone. I just enjoy seeing everyone's view on the upcoming game/season.

Ok other than your crappy avatar,I guess I will welcome you to Volnation.I did not say all Georgia fans were rude just a big majority of them are.

I wouldn't even say a big majority (but I'm biased) I think its just that the VOLs dominated us in the 90's and that a few fans are letting out alot of pent up frustrations. Put ontop of that the traditional rivalary it bound to get ugly with some fans. (sorry that some just dont know how to act.)

Fade, welcome to the Nation. We have no problem talking about the game with REAL Georgia fans, and you seem like a class guy.

As far as the game I think that it will tough on us considering last week, but at the same time GA is coming off of a big emotional win over hated LSU. Anytime that UT heads into a game as a double digit underdog, you had better be careful. I have a lot of respect for the talents of Greene and Pollack, but I know if Florida can find a weakness, so can we.

Agreed. I think the VOLs are always dangerous. We all recruit the same player, hence we all have the same talent. Like you said we are coming off a HUGE win and a let down could be possible and the VOLS coming off a big loss and are going to be hungry to make a statement. If we can control our emotions and the VOLS can get a couple things straight on defense it looks to be a great game.

I lived in GA for years, paid my taxes like anyone else down here and GA fans
are rude to me!!!!! They can kiss my..... :moon2: OOps..... I'M from the great state of TENNESSEE and will always support & follow my VOLS..... GA Dawgs are ok until
we play them...... let the games begin!!!!

I can understand being fed up after such a long stretch of loosing to the same team year after year (we all remember the drought we had against Bama :furious3: ) but you guys have made up for those losses here lately and if we don't patch up the D you'll have some more braggin rights, but Storm is right the Vols always play better as the underdog.....GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
