best ut reciever ever?

Jermaine Copeland caught everything thrown at him...

maybe you should watch the 97 SEC Champ game against auburn. he had no less than 3 dropped balls, 1 in the endzone, and fumbled the ball close to goal line that almost got returned for a TD (by auburn)

Pickens, McGee, Kent, Harper, Meachem, Price. In that order. If Pickens and Harper had played on the pass happy Manning teams they would be one and two in UT record books. I only go back to the mid 80s. Also Pickens had to cover FS one year due to a lack of depth in the DBs and had 5 INTs in 7 games IIRC. McGee was a warrior.

im talking about recievers at tennessee. Not in the nfl. Carl pickens isnt in the discussion for what he did at the reciever position in college.

has to be Kent then if that is the criteria.

has the most receptions as a Vol during career. (183)

Most career yards (2814)

Only Vol with two 1000 yard seasons. (1055 & 1080)

Tied with Pickens for most single game receptions (13)

Record for most 100 yard games (15)

its a no brainer. Has to be Kent if you are talking about what someone did while at Tennessee

He may have not been the best all around but Joey Kent made Mannings Job a lot easier in 95 and 96. He willalways be my favorite WR.

I'm shocked Anthony Hancock isn't mentioned. Personally I would choose Gault. I don't think anyone who has ever played at UT was more exciting than him when he had the ball.

Pickens, with Harper a close second

Pickens would've been an awesome DB too if he'd stuck with it. Imagine him, Dale Carter, and Jeremy Lincoln back there together. We still would've somehow managed to go 9-2 with Johnny ball, but imagine!

1. Carl Pickens
2. Peerless Price
3. Alvin Harper
4. Joey Kent
5. Willie Gault
6. Stanley Morgan
7. Larry Sievers
8. Robert Meachem
9. Donte' Stallworth
10. DA'FREAK ROGERS!

Of the ones that I've been able to see personally, Joey Kent is my favorite. I don't know if he's the best, but for sure my favorite.

1. Pickens
2. Harper
3. McGee
4. Hancock (not Quintin)
5. and when healthy, Anthony Miller

Pickens is the best but Price brought the trophy home. I'm torn due to that.
