LSU wears white at home, that's their thing, they have done that forever. I think its cool. They have cool helmets. But I agree, I'm not a huge fan of the purple jerseys.
yeah, nothing says tradition like taking the green bay packers logo and changing it to black.
Brave Volunteer said:7.) Michigan. yes that's right I said Michigan. WTH IS that thing on their helmets anyway?!? Yeah I know it's tradiiton but it makes no sense!
The Michigan helmet first got "wings" in 1938 when Fritz Crisler had part of the helmet colored so that it was easier to spot the receivers downfield. The leather helmets were constructed with a pattern that resembles today's "winged" design. When they changed to shell helmets, the winged design had become associated with Michigan, so it was kept to be something unique.

Another thing is that Michigan weren't even the first to have that trademark wing design. Remember, Fritz Crisler coached at Princeton before Michigan, and brought that over from Princeton.
Best uni's in each conference:
SEC: Bama/Tenn
Big 12: OU
PAC 10: Washington
ACC: Virginia/Miami
Big 10: tOSU
Big East: WVU
I love BYU's newest uni's. They used to be so ugly:

And if you are a real college football fan, you need to see Harvey Unga play. Your only chances will be BYU's games against FSU, OU, and their bowl. Fit one in, he's a treat. He'll be a junior and he already has 3,332 yards from schrimmage, and 33 TD's. He's ridiculously huge and is an every down back. A great pass-catcher.
