The longer he stays off the field, the longer the delay before the Vol "fans" start posting how bad he sucks, how they wish he had never come here, how much better Nance or Worley could/would be and so on.
Might be the most consistent UT tradition, bashing our own players until we feel better. Just ask Crompton, Ainge, Clausen, Clausen, Foster, Riggs, Martin, et al. Thank God for Manning that we didn't have message boards in his day or we would have posters on record advocating for his benching, stating he was only playing due to his family name. I can see it now "Start Todd Helton now, save the season".
Ainge deserved everything he got.The longer he stays off the field, the longer the delay before the Vol "fans" start posting how bad he sucks, how they wish he had never come here, how much better Nance or Worley could/would be and so on.

Must not have been in Neyland during Manning's freshman season. The calls for Brandon Stewart were loud and clear.
