It would have to be Health Shuler then Andy Kelly. Kelly was good he was just bad about throwing interceptions, but he was a winner and lead us to one of the greatest comebacks ever miricle at South Bend
Tony Robinson was the most exciting playmaker since Holloway. Andy Kelly won some good games but he was no where as talented as Shuler, Martin orAinge. Posted via VolNation Mobile
So. The NFL is different than college. The Heisman has nothing to do with NFL success. Ward would've played football if he was taken in the 1st round. Since he wasn't going to be no team was willing to waste a pick on him.
what does one have to do with the other? winning the Heisman just means you was the best college player that year. doesn't have a thing to do with the NFL. there have been plenty of Heisman trophy winners never do worth a flip in the NFL.
Definitely Clausen. He is simply a "winner." We haven't had one of those in a while. I wish our current players could play to their potential as Clausen did.
Casey Clausen. Tee was good, but he really didn't win games for us on route to the National Championship. He was bailed out numerous times by our stout defense and running game. Casey has the record and numbers to back it up. His road record is sick.
