Best Comedians

Those that refer to Dane Cook to anything other than a lucky tool that got to make out with Jessica Simpson, I reference you to the MLB playoff comercials he made last year.

Dude is not funny.
I would love to be able to throw a bucket of ice water on him when he gets all wound up on stage.

Jack and Jill went up the hill, each had a buck and a quarter. Jill came down with two-fifty, that...

I can't leave this discussion without giving at least a small nod to the Dice man...

carlos mencia is awful

A lot of comedians don't like Mencia or Cook because they have a bad reputation as bit stealer's.

Louis CK
Stephen Lynch
Patrice O'Neil
Bill Burr
Jim Norton
Robert Kelly
Mitch Hedberg
Bill Hicks
Jim Gaffigan
Nick Swardson

Big Tough Crowd fan, were you?

he hasn't been brought up, so i don't know how many of you have seen him, and i'll admit, the first time i saw him on HBO, i was like, who in the hell is this guy?

but, Eddie Izzard is freakin' hilarious.

in no real order
Robin Williams
Dave chapelle
eddie murphy(back in the day)
Chris Rock
Ron White
BIll Engval (i don't know why, but he cracks me up)
Jim Gaffagin (i want a lean hot pocket now)

and whoever said it...bill cosby, himself. that was the first stand up act i ever saw, and as a kid, and now seeing it as a father myself, it still makes me laugh out loud.

Mary, Mary quite contrary......

Mary had a little lamb, she kept in her back yard, and when she pulled her.........

Mitch Hedberg was probably my favorite comedian of all time. His awkward, monotone, and nervous delivery of his material always made me laugh at the joke, even if it wouldn't have been that funny if it had been told by someone else.

Robin Williams has been hit and miss for me. Some things I have seen have been amazing, and other shows I have seen haven't made me laugh at all.

I bought some of Rodney Carrington's CDs a long time ago, and got a lot of enjoyment out of them. Haven't heard any recent stuff, and thought his tv show sucked.

I really liked the first Caliendo performance I ever saw, but after seeing that his schtick and material hasn't changed in years, I am starting to strongly dislike him.

Dave Chappelle's stand up is great. I absolutely love his "For What Its Worth" special. For some reason I never really liked his show, other than a few of the more popular skits.

Mencia is horrible now. I first heard him when he would come on a radio show I listen to, and he would ad-lib things and it was hilarious to me. Then when I saw some of his stand up and his tv show, I found him horrendously unfunny.

I really don't like Pablo Francisco. In the stuff I have seen he jumps around sporadically with his different voices, yet fails to ever make a decent joke, or much sense for that matter.

I've heard that Carlos Mencia rips off other comedians a lot.

Every comedian steals material, it is about impossible not to. But Mencia and Dane Cook are the worst I have seen. The world would be a better place if Dane Cook wasn't a part of it.

I can't remember who Dane stole a lot from, for some reason I think it was Brian Regan.

Who's that comedian that does all the UFC crap? Apparently he's like the self-appointed monitor of other comedians. I heard him say that Mencia is the worst about stealing jokes. He isn't just hitting on the same material, he's blatantly plagiarizing. And apparently he does it quite a bit.

yeah it is Rogan. I'm all for calling someone out, but to me, Rogan comes off like a little bitch in the situation.

(hope using the b-word isn't against the rules. I used the "if it is acceptable on regular tv, it is ok on here" train of thought)

Ahh, Dice Clay, how could I forget him?

"So I'm standing in line at the bank the other day an theis b!+## walks in and says, 'Is this the back of the line?' I said no, we're all standing effing backwards."

Remember that part on his HBO stand-up, where he delivers a joke, then makes a "just kidding" expression, immediately followed by a "I wasn't kidding" expression and goes back and forth between the two for like five minutes?

That was comedy gold.
