you call betting the bowl games easy money?

That's not what I was saying. I bet college football, and won't bet on any other sports games. This was my example of how I don't need a 12 step intervention for gambling, as I only bet for about 3 months of the year.

I then went on to another thought, which was how I have made numerous props on this board to obviously delusional people who know little about this of which we speak. It's easy money.

How do you plan to collect that money?

Good. Then I'll bet $25 that Berry is involved in the first play, offensively, or defensively, in the Cal game.

he could start and still have almost no chance of being involved in the first play. can i get some of that action?

I will guarantee you one thing(and mark it down). If Berry starts at CB(good chance, IMO) or even if he plays as a backup against Cal, he won't do near as bad as Syd'Quan Thompson did last year, even if he covers the almighty DeSean Jackson.

Pretty hard to do worse. Will he have a broken hand like thompson? For your sake, i'd hope phil wont be as stupid as our DC. Jackson would destroy any true freshman. If you guys are starting ANY true fresman the first game of the season that says more about your depth than the talent of those kids. edit: and before we get the "cal's wide receivers stink comments" it should be noted that both jackson and hawkins were 5 stars and more highly (or at least as highly) rated than any WR recruit you have coming in. They also have 2 years of experience at cal.

I was just talking about being "involved", meaning; being there, paying attention, wearing a white jersey....., maybe even being in on the play.....:whistling:

(I need $25, from many different people, for a really cool Japanese Maple I want to plant in my yard)

Only 1 Tennessee TD was attributed to SQT's broken hand.

Hawkins was a 4* and Jackson a 5* (6.1). Vinson is a 5* (6.1) and O'Neal is a 5* (6.1). Gerald Jones is a 4* (5.9).

What was the other Tennessee TD attributed to against him? Was that not him on the 2nd play of the 2nd half?

The fact of the matter is the kid never should have been put in the situation of one-on-one coverage. Let alone multiple times.

Thomson was well regarded out of high school too btw. 4 star, 5.9. And he was a redshirt freshman, not a true freshman.
http://cal.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp?Player=51249 won freshman all american this year even after your game.

He was playing his first game against the '05 Vol WR's. I don't think your coaches were too worried.

sadly i think they put in the game plan assuming mixon (a very good senior cb) would be there. When mixon went out for the season they thought the talented freshman could cut it. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
