I interpreted your comment as characterizing my prior comments as saying there was an *. I wasn't saying there was an *, and was trying to explain why. I now see that you were in fact saying there is an *, so I misunderstood you. Yes, you are certainly free to believe that. I was always talking from a legal perspective. God knows the true facts, whatever they may be. That's why I'm more concerned with being dang sure we don't send innocent people to prison than being sure every guilty person is caught. Err on the side of letting the innocent man walk. The good Lord will sort the true facts out in the latter day. "Vengeance is mine, I will repay."Beasley is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. Public opinion is not a court of law. People are free to draw their own conclusions from the reported information. You are free to say no asterisk, and I'm not telling you what to do, but I am at liberty to say innocent with an asterisk.
