Battlefield: BC2

I played about 10 minutes last night.

I have some incredibly stupid questions I'm hoping someone will answer.

What do the colors mean on the map mean? I figured green is my team. Red is an enemy. What the hell is blue? Perhaps green is squad, blue is my entire team?

I kept getting dropped at some base a mile from anything and when I tried to head toward the action, I'd get killed.

Didn't know the controls at all, so I got in a tank a few times and would get blown up as I'm looking for a fire button.

Overall, it was a terrible first try for me. I think just knowing the damn colors will help. lol

If it makes you feel any better, I actually figured out (somewhat) what the colors meant pretty quickly, but still got my rear end handed to me. I think in my first 4 games, I had 15 deaths and no kills. I guess Mass Effect has got me out of shape because I couldn't kill anything.
Today I am doing a bit better and starting to get the hang to it a bit, but the learning curve can be painful, as for a while there I felt like as soon as I would find someone to shoot, he'd have me gunned down.

Much more enjoyable 2nd try. I was getting ~ 20/20 K/D per round or something around there. Got to see a couple more maps. Interesting stuff. Enjoyed it.

I went about 20 feet in the air and my chopper went straight to the water the first time I flew. :cool2:

My first foray into helicopter piloting didn't go much better. I am slightly disappointed that there isn't a "bot" mode or something similar where you can go in and play with the different vehicles like there was in BF2.

Anyone posted this yet? If so, sorry to duplicate.

We have been playing Squad death match last couple of night i really enjoy that game maps are smaller good times.

Yeahhhhh!!!!!!! Suck it you nonVIP people and people who bought it used!!!!{please turn sarcasm detectors on}

That's even more pathetic. There's got to be a better way to fight used game sales as this is ridiculous.

I really dont see what the big deal is, everyone else will get the maps sooner or later. The idea of getting content sooner if you buy it new is a good strategy imo.

I will be taking tomorrow off from work(rough week), planning on a BC2 marathon tomorrow with case of red bull and Jager after 11:00am :)

The content is already on the disk. We've already purchased it and are forced to wait so they can market it by rubbing it in Activision/Infinity Ward's face.

Forcing people to wait for unlocks of content that's already on the disk be it payed or free is pathetic. Not even Activision is that crappy. It was handled well with Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins, what happened here?

Would you prefer them to not have it on the disk and have to download them like cod and everything else?

actually thats perfect marketing..especially considering its coming out the same day as the MW2 maps that you have to pay for..which BTW they should have added some more Spec Ops missions...a definite no buy for me now
