Are you sure it's DLC? I thought all they were offering was the code in new games that unlocks maps already on the disk to get people buying new instead of used. Just picked up my copy in the snow, sadly I've got class and a dental appointment before I can play.

The DLC is 4 person squad rush. I think it will be available next month. Probably for like 250 gamer points or something. No real big deal with the gamestop thing except you get a gun and some stuff you can unlock in the game. I was going to buy it anyway so it didnt really matter to me. But, in the future expect to pay for "add ons" to your game. I think the game is worth it but 60 bones aint cheap. To each his own

I got mine from GameStop so I got the Squad Rush mode and the gun, If you preordered you also got the Limited Edition. Not exactly sure what the Limited Edition does for me.

Frostbite engine For the Win!! The only thing that I can tell that I miss from BC1 is the artillery. I know it was bad if it was on the opposing team, but nothing replaces the feeling of lighting up a complete squad with death from above:)

Yeah, why the F do we have to be in a war right now??? Soldiers in the field always crying about having more missiles in theatre, geesh cant you see I am trying to play some Bad Company II

Two consecutive times the game has kicked me back to the dashboard when loading a multiplayer game. It asks me if I'd like to join a squad, I make my selection, the screen turns black and then I'm back at the dashboard.

I'm 1 for 3 so far.

Had some server issues last night, but nothing that wasnt expected with release day. Overall I love the game and it is even a noticable upgrade from BC1. The only patch worthy thing I see right now at this point is the strength of the aerial vehicles. They are way too powerful and throws the game out of balance if there is someone who even remotely knows how to fly them. The best thing about BF is that there is always a counter to any weapon or vehicle. It just seems like right now the aerial vehicles have way too much power and need to be toned down just a tad.

Agreed. Choppers are ridiculously hard to take down if the driver knows what they are doing.

Overall though, I'm really enjoying the multiplayer. Haven't tried the single player yet but I'm sure it's pretty generic so I'll play it when I play it. The demo map is still my favorite.

Got to get rid of that damn horn that blows at the end of the games. there is a guided missle that can be unlocked to get the choppers. I think in the beginning they have an edge but as people progress in the game, they will come down. Chad shot missles at people all day yesterday and only got 1 kill from the chopper. But, we shot 4 down. The single player is fun as well. I am a big fan of everything blows up and buildings can be taken down. Wish i had a sick day to burn.

Single player is excellent. The story is pretty interesting and well worth the play. I am only in the second stage, but I think that I will work to finish this one unlike COD and others that I didnt get around to.

I probrably will be on nlt 5 est, depends on whether or not my wife makes me go to Bed Bath and Beyond with her:)
