BasketVols in the NBA (Pros)

At this moment, the box score says Mashack has 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 7 fouls!!!

It now says he has 8 personal fouls. Guess it’s an adjustment period for him from the physical brand of defense he played here to the touch fouls they call on everything in the NBA.

5 points, 9 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and a block for Mashack tonight in 23 minutes, with a team-leading +/- of +6. It's pretty weak that the announcers ignored his contributions except for making a couple of jokes about him fouling out with 10 fouls. He'll just have to adjust to the non-physicality of the NBA :D

He played his typical Mashack game that included a couple more caused turnovers and tipped balls on rebounds to get or keep possession.

I mean, I don’t think anyone expects him to play 12+ minutes a game, so his foul rate shouldn’t be that big a problem as long as he’s playing good enough defense to compensate for the FTs given up.

It’s 10 team fouls allowed in each quarter before the bonus. He didn’t foul as much tonight but those extra hacks just meant balll out of bounds.

I did not realize Tyreke Key played for the Raptors G-League affiliate, the Raptors 905. Also playing on the Raptors Summer League team.

Dalton goes out with an injury late in the 4th after air balling a layup and hitting the deck on a 2 on 1 opportunity. Very bizarre play.

Knecht with an up and down performance. Unfortunately he may have hurt himself after a steal and subsequent missed layup with only a minute or two left in the game. Perfect opportunity to take a 3 point lead, but ends up hurting himself.
