If there is a change and hope there is we better fire Dooley after Candy or mild cats. If not we will not get a good coach and will be late recruiting for new coach. I think Dooley is not to blame for Brays bonehead plays and our defensive cord but should be responsible for us being terrible 3 straight years. I hope he goes but if he is here another year he better get new D cord. and find away to help bray from crumbling when he has to carry team on shoulders. We should go 7-5 but no guarantee we could easy get beat by Vandy or Missiouri if ouroffense collapses. Then what do we keep Dooley?

If Cheek is doing this then he needs to call for a u-haul also. He saying UT can't afford it. What if there is alot of empty seats how does that look Mr Cheek.

Agree. How many seats will be filled next year if Dooley is back after we get our teeth kicked in by Oregon and Florida 2 weeks in a row in September ?

Ga, Fl, SCUjr, and Bama are all losing alot of senors and probably juniors to the the draft. Only one with the depth to still be formiddable is bama. If we dont lose to many we could be competive. I think ga gets hit the hardest by losses.

It helps but they all have been out recruiting Dooley for most part and they have been several freshmen and sophomores out playing us this year.... Gurley,Driskel ext..

Here is the way I see it. If next year our offense is even 80% as good at putting up ponts as this year and our Defense is at least 30% better at stopping and tackling we have a good shot at a 10 win season. Not very scientific or fact based just an opinion. I believe we will be much better next year. Hope we win out the rest of this season as well. Ill be at the game Saturday and rooting for my vols like I allways do. GBO!!!

I hope Dooley does but i am getting very impatient with him. I will be at Missouri and Uk game and hope we kick butt too.

All he says is what he knows/hears. He's pretty positive that Dooley is gone. Now he's hearing that, out of nowhere Cheek is working hard to keep him.

I appreciate that he fills us in on what he knows.

Tennessee is the roller coaster. Not Basilio.

Listen I know this for sure...DD is done he will not coach our Vols past the Kentucky game.

He has burned too many bridges and is not very well liked. Ask yourself this question "what has DD done to make you believe he is the type of coach that will lead our Vols back to national power?" Hell he acted like he beat the Packers in the super bowl when he beat Candy in ot. Guys there is no reason he was hired for this job. He wasn't ready and that has been proven.

Since Vandy will be favored it will be ok this year for Vandy to win. 3-1 in season 2 and he gets another year.
