You completely missed his point(and it's been stated like 20 times, lol). Just because BM was a Heisman winner, doesn't mean all walk-ons are Heisman winners or even successful quarterbacks for that matter.

BM is the extremely rare exception, not the rule. So, I really don't understand why everyone keeps bringing him up as some sort of "proof" that all walk-ons are successful.

Tbh, I think JG will get the job done under the right coaching staff.

Ok, how about this. The kid watched our game films seeing the same thing as everyone else.......our QB's are sadly lacking in talent. The guys obviously has enough confidence in himself to believe he could take the job for his own or he wouldn't have walked on. He has the size, a good arm and no doubt the confidence to succeed and I for one believe he could make the grade. He will most likely work harder to earn the job than someone who already has played a few games. This kid just might be our next great QB. Give him a shot as he can't be much worse than what we have.
