The article cut the quote too early.

They should have used Barnes’ full quote: “this team is getting it...self ready for an early tournament exit and a long offseason break this year.”

Not sure we go it. The VOLS Football or basketball, never live up to expectations 99.9 % of the time. We suck in everything!!!!:mad: Vandy has more national titles in men's sports than us in the last 20 years. How embarrasing!!!!

I'd prefer Barnes clear out the deadwood from this roster and load up on skilled shooters. I have no taste to see either Bailey or Vescovi in orange next year. I'm sure they will be but I'd rather go another direction.

I think Fulkerson and Anosike move on and Johnson and Springer are probably drafted.

Bailey and Vescovi and James can be solid three point threats next season with Mashack and Chandler.

BJ Edwards is a must get for the future and I would like to see Barnes and his staff find a couple of deadeye shooters and prioritize guarding the three point line on defense.

How do you think the 2021-2022 team will do if Barnes retires and a new head coach is trying stamp his name and system on the team?
