Gotta love the irony. The banner, not so much. Are their fans really so stupid that they don't even recognize aTm's coveting of Texas' LHN money is what set this whole thing in motion?
I've noticed the A&M commercial. Thought that was pretty sweet.
I like A&M coming, I just hope it don't kill our rivalry with Alabama.
Question for A&M fans, what does T-sip mean? Where did it come from?

Indications are that when Mizzou becomes #14, they will be in the East, therefore preserving the Bama rivalry. In the process, there would be an extra conference game added. 6 in division and 3 from the west.

The nickname refers to the World War II era, when t.u. students were sitting around sipping tea while Aggies went to war
When UGA renewed its program in 1919, their student body staged a parade, which mocked Tech's continuation of football during times of war. The parade featured a tank shaped float marked "Argonne" with a sign "Georgia in France 1917" followed by an automobile with three people in Tech sweaters and caps bearing a sign "Tech in Atlanta". A printed program was subsequently distributed in the stands with a similar point. While the Tech faculty was able to prevent a riot, no apology was made, and thus this act would lead directly to Tech cutting athletic ties with UGA...
