Nothing new for a program labeled as a "chronic violator" by the ncaa. dix is probably the tip of the iceberg. :eek:lol: :acute:

Buddy of mine who is a trainer said the S&C coaches don't need to pass the NCAA compliance test. Don't know if that is really true, but it could be a loophole they are using.

Allows for plausible deniability by the S&C coach ("I didn't know!"), head coach looks the other way, payers still get paid.

Exactly. There are many, apparently legal, ways of getting money as a college football player. And most of them don't require paying the money back.

We've seen this so many times now. Nothing will happen. Well to Bama anyway, UAB will get their teeth kicked in by the NCAA over this.

The NCAA made themselves powerless. Until they implement some meaningful, serious reforms it's open season for all major programs.

I must say. Hands down the best name in football right now. Only if he was a receiver, so he could laugh at the DB's.

I'm sure you've seen his pressers before, but he's such a jerk. I wish there was just one cold-blooded report in Tuscaloosa who would get on his case during these... You can sense genuine fear from the reporters if you've ever heard them stutter questions..

And more than a few head coaches.

What I think is interesting is that the kid is driving a "2012 Dodge Charger" Used those are probably worth around $30,000 to $38,000. Now if the owner of a $30,000 car doesn't have $500 something just isn't right.......... I mean if I'm the owner of a car that expensive, I'm going to have $500 cash in the bank. So perhaps the real question is where did the kid get the car???

The down payment was made by us and the monthly note was made by SMU. Damn you're dense.
