A college football game is not a family atmosphere, period, and it's not really designed to be. There are obviously areas they try to make family friendly, but in the end you are on a college campus. I also don't think those playing the music were trying to implicitly offend anyone, its just the music they were listening to. Some people like rap music, and some people like country music, and not all country music is family friendly either, yet I bet kids are singing about "getting their shine on" and their parents are fine with it.
I'm not advocating it was good for them to play the music they were playing, nor am I advocating that it wasn't offensive, but to expect 20 something kids to respect your kids or others kids is a bit naive. We all have different opinions of fun and what is acceptable, and it sounds like this is most definitely one of those cases here. Just remember, those kids who were being the offenders will be on the other end one day, and will be having the same complaints you are. It's funny how that works.
A college game is not a family atmosphere? Who do you think the other 90,000 people in the stands are?
No one on frat row would do this. And farmhouse wouldn't do it. Do whatever you want in your own house but keep the ass showing to a minimum outside. You can turn the volume down. They can't use their Lake Ave parking pass somewhere else.
