Bad Bunny

The NFL knows what they’re doing. By making it political, and hinting that Bad Bunny may make a political statement, they drew more attention to it. I can’t remember a halftime show being talked about this much in recent memory.

I don't think it was that - just trying to expand the audience south. Whether it's a good marketing move is a different question but I don't see a conspiracy here.

Not my thing. If it’s yours, all good. Or maybe I’m just old now.

I do enjoy a lot of non-English speaking music. I listen to a lot of bossa nova when I’m relaxing with a cigar on my back deck in mid July. So it’s not a political thing for me.

did some Astrud Gilberto this afternoon on the deck

Maybe. It got a lot of coverage though, more than I can think of a Super Bowl halftime show getting recently.

On the off chance that the New York Jets ever make another Super Bowl how cool would it be if Geoff Tate did a cameo belting out Jet City Woman?

On paper, with the NFL's recent efforts to put it on a more international stage, I think it was a good marketing move.

The only people it pissed off are literally a dying demographic.
