The NFL knows what they’re doing. By making it political, and hinting that Bad Bunny may make a political statement, they drew more attention to it. I can’t remember a halftime show being talked about this much in recent memory.
On paper, with the NFL's recent efforts to put it on a more international stage, I think it was a good marketing move.I don't think it was that - just trying to expand the audience south. Whether it's a good marketing move is a different question but I don't see a conspiracy here.
