Back in it baby (UF)!!!!

I must be drunk. LG, you suck.

No must here, LG ur good in my book even tho u are a feraking gator.

Sorry for u and not for the rest of the gators.

LSU will defeat your team. We are in control of our own destiny in the SECE. From what I've seen so far, the odds are stacked against us, but who gives a dung about odds (i learned my lesson about betting on college football in the 90's). I'm pumped and pissed.

I've got all the love in the world for the Vols, but after watching them against Arkansas St. the defense still looks subpar at best. And that's being complimentary.

They allowed gaping holes for A State to run through.

But I'll hope with the rest of the hopeful.

If they plan on contending for the east, however, they better get considerably better on defense....and fast.

I've not seen Kentucky's QB but to me Stafford has NFL written all over him. He is very confident and comfortable with what he's doing and appears to me to be the best QB talent-wise in the SEC. Yeh yeh Ainge has numbers...blah blah blah.

If Tennessee's defense stays consistent with past performance then Stafford will be able to throw on them all day as he sips the mai tai on his barcalounger.

Sober up and re-post.

HEY GUYS! Did you see us rock today? Did you see how come tomorrow we will be the #3 team in the entire nation!?!
:dance2:

Well, just thought I would say hello and make sure you saw the news. See ya around...:hi:

Much as Fulmer is on the hot seat, it is in his hands to turn it around. 80% chance LSU beats UF. That happens and UT controls their own destiny.

And there is the problem. It's not the players. Some other coaches actually have the ability to get their team up for a big game. In our case, TN usually fails miserablly when it comes to the big one. In fact, we usually get way behind early in big games. When it comes to equal talent on both teams, we do not have a chance. :cray::cray:

I assure that Auburn is in no way as talented as Tennessee.

Florida got beat by a very average team. I'm wondering if Ole Miss exposed something about Florida's offense that Auburn took advantage of.

No Arkansas is not a good team. If you think there is trouble here then read about Nutt. No way he makes it till next year. There team started the season with turmoil and is now in disarray. Mcfadden and Jones are great running backs but they are dreaming about the NFL and the big bucks. Ark. is very similar to 2005 Vols but with LESS talent.
this Arky team has nowhere near the talent that the 05 version of the Vols did. amazingly enough, even their QB is worse than the sophomore version of Ainge.

Additionally, our 05 team had very solid D, Arky has none.

If by some miracle we win out and win the SEC East, Fulmer will keep his job. Unfortunately.

I think that what tonight revealed is that our coaching staff are buffoons. I'm not sure that Auburn has that much more talent than we do, yet they went into Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and -- to quote the General -- carried the fight to the opponent for 60 minutes. Our coaches waved their hands around for three hours while our team was getting its ass handed to us. If anything, Tuberville's vicotry makes the fact that we couldn't even stay in the game that much worse.
Shows how inept and outdated our coaching staff is thats all. I will say auburn's d-line is better than ours. It just makes foolmer look worse in the eyes of his biggest critic's. Hopefully good for us in the long run.

Yeah i seen it thank god for the 12th man.

0-2 against Auburn. That's hard to stomach. It was one hell of a game though. Never expected us to crawl back into it. A loss is a loss though.

Wow, I'm impressed you came around after a loss. Unlike Tennessee, Auburn plays a physical brand of football, the one thing that I preached all summer we would have to do in order to have a chance in beating you guys. But alas, we're soft.

You guys are still light years ahead of Tennessee right now, as much as that fact pains me.

Cal got lucky at the end of the game, but nice win anyways.

This is just great. Now Georgia, SC, and Kentucky have even more motivation to kick our a$$. :)

Yep. I'm enjoying sitting here and watching all the Kool-Aid drinkers talk about how "we're back in it", and "we might win the East".

7 conference games left. A 4-3 mark in those games would not surprise me.

The only thing UT is "back in" is Knoxville.

I'm not sure rolling the turd downhill is really going to make that pathetic loss feel any better. Saint Urban definitely has some issues (special teams were approaching UT standard) and the spread isn't all you've cracked it up to be.

It's been a one trick pony so far.

had it not been for a phanton interference call, Arky would be 3-1, not 2-2. While not the best team in the SEC, Arky is definitely not a bad team. Both Arkansas and Kentucky will beat Tennessee.

Arkansas will fold like a cheap tent. Nutt has doomed his team by running off an innovative OC and a QB that was undefeated while he was there. McFadden hasn't been able to finish 2 games this year already. Bama let McFadden look like a marathon runner against them and still beat the Hogs.

Kentucky is pretty damn good this year and they always give UT fits. This is their best shot to beat UT. I believe they will.

A noob here….but been on the sidelines for years. The post by the “CA Comodehead” put me in the game! Anyway, it’s good to have hope…and Auburn gave us some of that. But, the reality is that we’re the same team as two weeks ago…with a poor defense, awful special teams and for the most part—poorly coached. Unless someone has slipped out to south Florida and kidnapped some players who can stop the run and stolen a good game plan…GA will go thru us like a dose of salts. But, I’ll continue to cheer for those Vols…and hope for the best

You can't fault Nutt for running off his rookie OC and freshmen qb. JG you know a lot about football. If you had McFadden and Jones in your backfield last year and no one was stopping them, would you seriously put your fate in the hands of a freshmen qb taking it to the air? Nutt did the only reasonable thing a coach would do, then when the mommy's and daddy's came in and cried to the AD, Nutt had to look the bad guy for the AD being a complete moron.
