and they were all healthy and upperclassman in 2012...and old over the hill Debord still averages more points per game than an offense that put 11/12 in the NFL

yeah I heard it from more than one person who generally know things..I didn't post it because I thought it might be one of those heat of the moment scenarios...also heard that Butch took over the WR coaching last week

We should hire Meachum or Cumbie from TCU. we should make one of them our Wr coach and co Oc . Both have coached wr at some time in their career. One of these guys should be our OC now instead of debord

Butch cut his teeth coaching WR's. If he did it's working because the WR's looked much better against Georgia.

We averaged 36.2 points per game (22nd) that year with the 24th toughest schedule in the nation.

Is it really Chaney's fault our defense was atrocious? Troy took us to the wire for f***'s sake and you're saying our 5-7 record was Chaney's fault Lolololol.

Bray had over 3000 yards passing and 35+ td's. If Chaney were still here our pass game would be significantly improved and Hurd and AK would still be splitting defenses like peas. If our old Oline coach were still here our Oline would be better also.

I can somewhat agree with some but I'm not that butt hurt what he said bout Hurd just because it was supposed to be a private convo.. To forget the things he did here while playing for this university and trying to erase Tee from Tennessee is just as classless and being hypocritical also..

Why don't you just give up...this year we are averaging over 200 yards passing AND rushing, 37 points per game, with fewer NFL offensive players and the number 8 toughest schedule

I would be thrilled if Martin came home to replace Azzani and I would be even more optimistic about next year. Definite upgrade. I don't fault the guy for not leaving his situation and jumping on board earlier and I certainly didn't see it as a diss. And I don't mind what he said about Hurd as long as Hurd don't mind.

Side note: Trooper Taylor would be an upgrade too. Those annoyed by his towel-waving antics are ignoring a nice body of work from his previous stop here.

Trooper's towel and chest bumping never bothered me. Acting like his kid should get special treatment on his high school team did though.

Didnt read the whole thread but I did see a few say Azzanni was one of our top recruiters and he may be better than Tee. According to 247, in 2014 Tee was the #2 overall recruiter, while Azzanni was #152. In 2015, Tee was #2 and Azzanni was #356. And Azzanni is at the bottom of our staff in both of those seasons.

Nice recruiter and the underclass WRs are showing some promise. Dont understand the hate outside of Marquez underachieving (from our expectations but he has been beat up so not putting it on him of CZA).

Some of you are really either ignorant or dumb. If you have a chance to get one of the top recruiters and talent evaluators in the nation, along with some another African American coach who can relate to the players you jump on it. The man made a family decision and was able to retain more money to provide for his family. Who wouldn't do this? Stop taking things that weren't personal to heart. People turn down jobs and reapply or seek 2nd chances quite frequently. Some of you would turn down the chance to make a position group better because of a previous situation and that's blatantly preposterous

Azzani is an overrated recruiter and anot awful position coach. He has never produced a NFL talent as a position coach. His best player produced was the kid at Wisconsin Jared A. Azzani can't touch Tee on any level. For those who want to know we asked what kind of speed work do they do at UT and several players told me none. They were told if you lift weights fast that builds speed, lolllll :):):crazy::crazy:: :)

Lol I'm African American and I haven't taken what Tee did personally but I believe Azzani is the better coach for our system. We are getting the talent. Most of the time it takes awhile for receivers to develope and learn. We are still young at the position and have so many injuries. I can't see the rationale for wanting another coach right now. North made some great plays year before last as a true freshman. He had never played the position. Azzani obviously taught him something. Samething for Jennings. He was a QB. I can't honestly agree with you guys.

If it helps you get through the rest of this Sunday, none of us are in the position to "turn down " anyone. These are opinions on here...no power behind them. You'd best come to grips with those that don't agree with your equally powerless viewpoints...persuasive as your "ignorant and dumb" argument was. Message boards are the shiznit! :)
