Aviation Discussion

Sorry, I thought I had told you I’m now in OKC doing en-route instruction.

One of the instructors here has a son who just placed and was sent to ZME. Great work ethic and attitude, hopefully things click for him there.
Oh cool, I didn’t know that. Is that a temporary thing or full time? I didn’t know they had FAA people there except for evaluators.

Not familiar with those initials, so must be in a different area.

Sounds good, send us all the good ones!

I’m on a two year instructor assignment. Right now I’m just in the radar lab, but will soon be going through non-radar and training as a classroom lead. I’ve been having a blast. Love teaching and the M-F 7-3 probably saved my marriage. I think I’ll have an opportunity to go permanent, but giving up pay and retirement benefits will make it a tough choice.

Do you get to count this as good time or not?

If you see an instructor named Chuck that’s a big Mississippi State fan, he was my trainer at ZME.

If I moved my wife back to OKC it would probably end mine lol. I didn’t mind it out there but she hated it.
