That makes no sense. You are saying there are always 12 teams that have better recruits every year. Heupel should theoretically be finishing roughly 13th every year if the teams with higher recruiting classes are fairly consistent. (Like Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, etc.)Tennessee has averaged 13th in recruiting since Heupel has been here. There is more than enough talent to win championships. Players aren’t being developed and schemes aren’t utilizing our talent.
What doesn’t make since about it lol 13th is really good. Our blue chip rate is over 50% I just think we aren’t playing up to par especially on defense with the talent we haveThat makes no sense. I've seen him dessert plenty of teams. One time he was nearly mustarded.Surely Kiffin won't desert a team, will he?.
Yep! I’ve watched plenty of Tom Petty interviews, and never heard him mention Gainesville. Heck, never heard Gainesville mention him until after he died!I've seen him dessert plenty of teams. One time he was nearly mustarded.
My prediction is Ole Miss makes him the 2nd highest-paid coach in the country and his son Knox can focus on starting for his Oxford HS football team and not having to worry about finding a place to play in the armpit of the South Gainesville, Florida. Man, all those Gators talk all the time about how Tom Petty is from Gainesville, but he could not wait to get out. He did not stay long.
The portal has kept us afloat, but If your direct competitors are recruiting at a far higher level than you are, then you have to seriously out-coach them to win. Generally speaking.Tennessee has averaged 13th in recruiting since Heupel has been here. There is more than enough talent to win championships. Players aren’t being developed and schemes aren’t utilizing our talent.
Nope. 13th in recruiting will not get it done. That will get you consistent winning seasons, but you're not winning championships recruiting at that level in the SEC. You need to be consistently in the top 10, preferably the top 5 in recruiting to have a shot.I actually dont think thats statistically true.
Top 2-3, usually.Where have Georgia and Alabama finished in that time?
Why can’t people understand the recruiting has improved significantly since the NCAA issue went away? It’s tough selling a 4 or 5 star kid Nick Saban, Kirby Smart & Dabo are wrong when they’re saying “Tennessee will have a post season ban most of your career if you go there”.Nope. 13th in recruiting will not get it done.
