Automobilia etc....

I won't buy a cheap M-anything; Land Rover-anything or AMG-anything.

I will and do though buy relatively inexpensive regular models from luxury makers.

I have an in on a 1965 mustang. My dad and I restored 3 while I was growing up (a 65 and 2 66s, all fairly standard coupes. 2 289s and 1 200 I6.) Now that I'm old enough to enjoy one, I've been looking around.

The guy that owns it is a long time work friend of my dad's. He bought the car upon his return from Vietnam and has owned it ever since. Might've put another 5k miles on it during that time. Its got some 'garage wear' but its as close to flawless as I'd ever want. His adult son doesn't have any interest in it...so I'm campaigning to give it a good home.

If i pull this off...fun times ahead.

meh, I'll take a Morgan 3-wheeler.

got it back yesterday afternoon.
They replaced the Front Left wheel, and tire and fixed the front left brake caliper

Glad to hear you got it back!

That probably wasn't too expensive to repair. I'm sure that will be the last of your troubles.

I wonder if the displacement keeps it from having that high strung note that Ferrari has?

Probably ...with the effort behind making the mustang a global car, I'm pretty sure they did everything they could to keep it as recognizable (as a mustang) as possible.

After doing a little more reading, I found that Ford ran into a problem similar to one Ferrari had with higher displacement engine and durability and has potentially solved it via harmonic conuter-balances.

A little off topic, but I'm selling my modded 335. Any thoughts on the best route? I have it listed on Craigslist, Cars.com, and Autotrader. I'd like to appeal to buyers interested in "not your average BMW." It looks great and is really quick.
