Automobilia etc....

Went to the Concours D'Elegance at Amelia Island this last weekend, and made a collage of all the photos I took of the hood ornaments of the really vintage stuff...

Hopefully I'm not derailing the thread with these...

One last one I took of the finest C2 Corvette I have ever seen in person...a '63 Split Window Coupe, fuel injected, Z06 tanker car...

Jealous GreatWhiteNorth. An acquaintance of mine went

It was a lot of fun. I went to the seminar on Saturday morning where a lot of the hosts of various TV car shows spoke, and it was honestly the best part of the weekend. I could have listened to those guys for hours.

Don't you have a z06?

Why don't you stop holding out on a brother and post some snappies of that thing.

Jealous of your trip.

1967 Corvette convertible, 327, 4 speed, side exhaust. Matching numbers engine and trans, Ermine White on Red interior

When I got it...(in a thousand pieces)

Engine reinstalled and finally complete (added Vintage Air, power steering, power brakes, custom headers)

Interior finally going in...

And I finally got it fired up...

Why have you been hiding this from us. I know it's nsfw material, but cmon! That's amazing stuff right there.

What do you daily drive? Also how often do you drive the black one? How do you cope with having a toy stored? I barely managed 1.5 months with a meager little car, much less a 505hp god of thunder.

Ha, thanks for the kind words.

The Z06 was actually my daily driver for about a year. I have a Nissan Titan that I use now, and my wife has a little 2014 Mazda3 hatch.

Both the Z06 and the '67 are going to be for sale very soon...
