Anyone had any luck dealing with Nissan and their cars? Saw the Kicks down around 22,000 at Morristown Nissan.
My mechanic who only works on foreign cars told us stick with Honda, Toyota and Subaru. Specifically said don’t get Nissan, VW or any of the Korean makes.

My wife has had 3 Honda’s. Great cars. She’s got a HR-V right now but wanting another CR-V.

Washed and allowed to dry overnight in the garage. Today it received a clay-bar bath and then polished. Next I'll be applying the Nex-Gen ceramic spray coating.

Before Nex-Gen

Nissan trucks and SUVs with a traditional automatic transmission are really solid. The cars and crossovers with the CVT transmission are not...and that includes the Kicks. I wouldn't really trust a CVT from any manufacturer, but they're hard to avoid if you're buying a car.

Looking at a new Chevrolet Colorado zr2 and GMC Canyon AT4 & AT4X. My wife's redneck side is coming out and she wants a truck for the next three years and then give it to my son for his first vehicle. I haven't had a GM product since owning a 95 S-10 in college...been mostly Nissan and Toyota trucks since then. Any opinions on these trucks? Looks like the main concern from what I've seen online are some electrical gremlins popping up with all the tech bells and whistles.

Anyone have a newer 2022-2024 Ford bronco not the sport but the full size 4 door. We are looking at it and wondered if anyone has a review?

I know they've had issues with the all-digital dash across multiple vehicles. Now my Silverado's (I've had 2) have been fine. However, I do know a gentleman who has a Sierra and they've had his truck on and off for 4 months now due to the dash.

They also ditched the 6 cylinder for a turbo 4.

Yeah...all that tech isn't always a good thing. Our current issue is limited numbers of Colorado ZR2 trucks with the packages we want and in a color we like. Only one fits the bill in the North Atlanta up to Dawsonville area and it has some extras we don't want that jack up the price. Getting some prices at $3k off MSRP, which seem solid for a ZR2. We'll probably just keep waiting for something to pop-up that fits. I think ordering one might take a while.

What packages and color? I still know a lot of people lol.

The wife wants leather and the surround view camera in yellow, silver, blue, or the sand dune color. We're finishing up a remodel on a lake house and getting close to moving, so we're probably going to delay the truck shopping for a month or two. We might talk to the local dealer just to see what all is involved in ordering and what the ETA might be, but probably just going to hold off until we're settled at the new place.

Don't have a lot to offer, but my Dad has a 2023 2 Door Wildtrack and he has not had any problems after 6k miles. I did get to keep it for 6 weeks and drive it daily. It was fun to drive and the 2 door turns on a dime and is easy to maneuver. Even drove very well at 85 on the interstate, but there is A LOT of wind noise even with the hardtop and sound deadening added. I have heard the soft top is not as loud, but that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. The sound system is terrible, even if upgraded to the high/lux package. My only complaint with the hardtop was his has the roof rails and it made getting the fronts roofs off a little difficult. I plan on getting a 4 door in the near future. Avg mpg was 17 in town and 18 on the interstate.

I read when negotiating for a new car you need to find out what the average transaction price is on the model and trim level you want. Does anyone know where to find this information?

I’m wanting to get a 2024 Honda CR-V EX-L.

You aren't getting much if anything off a Honda.
