I think the trio of Lucas Taylor, Josh Briscoe, and Austin Rogers would make up our most unathletic trio ever. And guys Rogers shouldn't be on the field on third down. He's not reliable. His best clutch catch was against UCLA. And he had big key drop on a deep ball in that one. I'm just tired of this guy. If he can't take it all the way get him off the field. The job of the offense is to score. If he doesn't show the ability to be a touchdown maker then get him off the field. He just doesn't have it guys. You want to make him fit but he doesn't.

So do you think that he will be the most productive receiver on the team this year?

Got his hands on it. Just didn't pull it in. Also with his supposedly 4.4 speed he should of tracked it down it wasn't really that far out there.

Not many teams can line 4 WRs up and expect all of them to turn slants into 70 yard TDs.
Florida, USC, Texas, LSU, OSU, Georgia, and the rest of the elite programs expect you to take it to the house. We used to have expectations like that. But now all some of us want are chain movers.

LSU had one receiver with a reception over 70yds this season, GA had none.
Do you spend a lot of time playing Madden or something? For some reason your football mentality seems horribly skewed to the idea of everybody is supposed to run 4.2 40's and every play expected to go the distance. Reality just isn't a video game. The SEC's best:
Catches per game- 5.4 (K McKinley, SC)
Yards per game- 74.1 (AJ Green, GA)
Percy Harvin and Riley Cooper were the only Florida WRs to have a reception for over 50 yards, and Coopers long was only 51.
But they weren't the only players that could take it the distance. Louis Murphy and Deonte Thompson could take it to the house also if a guy missed a tackle.

USC had Patrick Turner, LSU had LaFell, OSU had Robiskie. Plenty of great teams have solid players that make big contributions that are not a threat to take it to the house. Florida is really the only team you mentioned that has a roster of guys that can. As much as you would like it to be, real college football is not the same as EA Sports football where the only thing that matters is speed.
This is in no way a defense of Rogers. I think we can do much better. However, the notion that great teams shouldn't have possession receivers who aren't necessarily a deep threat is absolutely ridiculous and out of touch with reality.
