If they snag Freeze I will be completely disheartened with our administration. The state of Tennessee is not on the coaches... it's on the idiots who hired them in the first place. The fans have been trying to get a winner in here since Dooley. We are beyond tired; some of us ain't even watching anymore. Just show us you care by hiring a proven coach.

UT needs to find out who leaked the recruiting story. That was an inside job and only one that someone in the administration would know. UT isn’t going to hire Freeze after firing a guy for violations. I don’t think there is much to the investigation, but they knew optics would distance UT away from Freeze. Timing of dropping it right at kickoff only adds to someone in the AD had the release planned.That story did nothing to help UT in any way.

There is the attraction. He will win at Auburn or Ole Miss with time. Too good at coaching offense not to.

Yep...Liberty just gave Freeze a extension and pretty good raise a few weeks ago.

He's been their HC since 2014 and has the same number of losses as Pruitt since 2018. His teams have also finished in the Top 25 in 4 of his 7 years there. If he can recruit, he's going to be a force on The Plains.

Same people thinking Harsin isn’t a home run hire probably thought the same when Florida hired Urban Meyer.

I spoke to an Auburn insider who said that Sarkisian had an amazing interview and appears to be his job to lose. I was surprised to hear the Kiffin is really pushing for the job.
