'17 AU WDE Big Kat Bryant (UCF)

How is this a swing and miss by the new staff? He was transferring because Gus was fired. He announced he was coming to UT because Shelton Felton was his high school coach. Shelton Felton got fired and is a big part of the cheating investigation (along with Neids). Everyone is thinking he goes to Oklahoma. Gus gets new gig at UCF. He follows Gus. The new staff was never a factor either way.

Don’t waste your time. That guy is a troll. Blaming a staff that has been on the job not even 2 months for our recruiting woes shows a sever lack of intelligence.

Gus put here recruiting all his former guys to UCF. Big Kat, Craig Meyers and Antony Richards. Craig Meyers one is not the smartest to leave bc a coach didn’t use you right then go right back to him lol

Initially thought wtf but more I think about it he goes to a Hc that recruited him and knows him and to a league that he should be able to put up big numbers easily vs the competition he will be facing to pad his stats.
Kind of like our head coach. Look good against weak competition and get a big pay day from some sucker.

Another swing and a miss by the new staff. Not looking good at all. Pumpers flame away.
A person doesn't have to be a "pumper" for you to be ridiculous.

I don't claim to know how these guys will ultimately do. But they need more time to work before being condemned. They've had to evaluate recruits from the former HC and decide how and even if to try to develop enough of a relationship to sign them.

It is very likely that their approach to recruiting will be a lot different and probably more difficult. Kind of makes it tougher if you aren't illegally paying players.... So they have to make that up by finding players who don't expect you to break the rules and then develop relationships with him.

And frankly... this staff's recruiting is neutered until they prove they can do something on the field. This may be the most critical first year any UT HC has ever had. IMHO, they need 6-8 wins to get recruiting traction. The O needs to score over 30 ppg. The D needs to have some big play ability.

People are calling you a troll... maybe you are. If so... sorry to waste your time with a response with substance.

Gus is gonna kill it at UCF
It will be interesting to watch. UCF has had 3 "good" coaches over the past decade who have built a certain kind of program. Their program has a culture and personality. That seemed to carryover from O'Leary to Frost to Heupel.

Malzahn for good or ill... is not like those guys.
