Are those really 2007 cheerleaders? Attractive, yet classy... Can't say the same even for most HS cheerleaders.

It seems as though we would have to get the total package coach to compete at UT. He would have to recruit well since we don't have the best in-state talent, and he would have to be a great x's and o's guy since we play in the SEC againt coaches like Urban Meyer and Nick Saban. It seems like a daunting task the find that right guy. Because I don't want to have to go through a few Ron Zooks before we find the right guy.

It was slightly more complex than that. The two most visible things were losing to Michigan routinely (who had a ton of Ohio players) and losing twice to South Carolina (who had Ohioan Ryan Brewer).

Michigan's pretty bad this year, and they have only seven Ohioans on it. I believe that's the lowest number since sometime in the 1940s.
The second loss to USC east was Tressel's first year. And if Cooper had beaten Michigan at least 4 times he probably wouldn't have been canned.

It will be tough. We will have to pony up the cash to get the right coach.Bama had no problem doing it.We shouldn't either.

Greatest Coaching GIG anywhere. Neyland stadium is a big reason. Only one other stadium in the world is larger. The most avid fan base in the world.

You can check the numbers to be exact- But the Big House in Michigan, Beaver Stadium in Happy Valley and the Rose Bowl all seat more. But I get your point.

I don't think the stadium brings in a coach -- the other facilities do. Weight room, practice fields, etc...

stadium doesn't hurt especially when the new coach doesn't have to worry about putting people in it.

If I was confident in my coaching abilities to be able to turn a program around, what better way to win the endearing support of that fanbase. Win the big games and you become a demigod overnight.

We have the money to basically get anyone that wants to get a new job, and some people that weren't even thinking about leaving.
