The empty seats are the visitor SEC sections in south upper deck.

hey I’m often wrong.

However I feel many folks a traveling less to go to a game now…….traveling to an away game would be affected even greater.

89,000?!? UTAD is counting sold tickets not butts in seats.

70 to 75 max. Nobody in SE upper deck above row 15, North upper less than 50% lots of bare iron visible. Noon kickoffs suck.
Yeah, no way 89k in the stadium.

And SCAR did not bring as many as Pitt which dropped it.

Not to diminish your point but a Ryder Cup event is one of the loudest venues on earth.
I was mainly just talking about how everyone watching golf is quiet until they swing. Basically the same thing. Quiet on 1st and 2nd down. Get kinda loud on 3rd down or after a big play. Not consistently loud. One of the quieter games I've been to. I went to the game against UK in 2018 and there probably 70k there and it was about the same. UK game might've been a better atmosphere.

I understood your point.😃 I was there yesterday as well and I’ve heard it louder before for sure. BUT…I’ve definitely heard it a lot quieter than it was in my section yesterday as well. Main objective? We won!

Definitely glad we won. I just want to be able to affect the game like we all know we can. 1 or 2 plays can change a game but you never know when or how.

89K today. Obviously the black jerseys didn’t do too good a job of putting more butts in seats. What’s it gonna take to get back to 102,455 VN?
Game times are immensely killing it. If you’re from the mid-state or beyond it’s hard to get there with the time change, unless it’s an overnight trip the day before, which is what we’ve had to do. We were planning to attend yesterday until Covid struck and were going to leave north AL at 6:00 am instead of Friday evening. Next week will be infinitely different I believe; first Saturday night home game will make a huge difference.

Also....for some coming very far away the out of control inflation has bloated prices (especially fuel) so ridiculously high (with no end in sight and project to get MUCH WORSE) making a trip with your family is just not feasible. Just about every program across the US is having this issue. Of course there are many other factors as well.

100% agree. We easily spend $400 a weekend on fuel, hotel and food. I’ve always wondered if those outside of the I-75/I-81 corridor understand how much of an investment (monetarily and time) and undertaking it really is to get to games.

A game in Neyland is priceless.

Love to see the game this weekend has already sold out. I guess a lot of you saying the game time and opponent were big factors were right. It is going to be an amazing experience and wish I could be there in person. Give em hell and GBO 🍊
