There is no way I'd go to the draft. Remember a few years ago when that OL from Wisconsin (?) told the NFL to screw off and went fishing with his dad instead? That's how you handle it. If you're not a top 5 pick then there's no reason to be there with the camera on you.
Joe Thomas. He was actually a top five pick and went #3.
LOL I'm unwadded. Clippers make me tense. It's basically the same as a white out, black out etc. Gimmick to electrify the atmosphere.
I would sure as hell spend the day on a boat with my dad than wearing a suit in Radio City Music Hall with cameras stuck in my face. I don't know why anyone goes. It's not like they're going to draft you any differently based on whether you're in the building or not.

Verc,
What has Erat been doing for the Caps? Haven't followed it much.
Don't think he's done much yet. One really nice assist that I remember; I can't remember if he's scored a goal himself or not yet. He's not on the top line with Ovechkin and Backstrom, and Ovechkin has been so incredible the last couple months that it's really overshadowed everything else.
Caps did come back to win the division. Playoffs next week. Probably need to get my mom to send me some of her Valium pills to get ready.
Come on now. It's easy for anyone to sit back and say that when they'll never ever ever be in that situation.
What's the benefit to going to the draft? I don't really understand why the top-10 locks go, much less the marginal first-round guys. I guess I just don't have or understand the type of personality that would enjoy sitting there with the cameras, the reporters, the attention. And doubly so when there's any risk that you don't get taken and end up like Brady Quinn and Geno Smith. Yuck.
Forsberg played a few games. Looked good, slighty overmatched.. think he logged an assist. Ovechkin turned back the clock and is playing like he did a couple years ago. He is about to dominate the playoffs.
They are a Brooklyn Band indie/post punk et al

Been jamming this one lately. Entire record is great. Their big influence was The Replacements
