@MinorLeagueBlog: #Braves Ernesto Mejia blasted his 6th Home Run at AAA Gwinnett

Pujols Ultra Ultra Light on fire again. Dude beats up minor league pitching.

If Heyward is Black Jesus, it may be time to consider Judaism in RF. Dude has been putrid.

He looks fine at the plate. He hit two balls today that easily could have been homers in another park. He's drawing walks. This isn't like two years ago at all; he's going to be fine.

i've been really impressed with the braves play so far this year. i know this kind of pace is impossible to keep up but if the guys that are slumping can pick up by the time the hot guys tail off a little, this could continue to be a very potent offense. on top of that i never expected this pitching staff, while good, to be this dominant. i'm enjoying every game so far

All right, so I was enjoying the Baseball's Best Fans retweets about how happy they were about Johnny Cueto's injury, thinking them to be just the usual funny classless crap from the self-anointed best fans in baseball.....and then I googled up the incident from a few years ago, and now I see why Cardinals fans are so happy to see him injured. If I were a Cards fan, I'd be laughing at him too.

IIRC, he pretty well ended Matheny's career when he plunked him, then set off another brawl and acted like a bytch.

Edit: Wasn't Matheny. Jason LaRue. And not via plunking but by kicking him in the head during a brawl.

Or just slightly in either direction in that same park. Those two balls, especially the first one, absolutely jumped off his bat and seemed to be in the outfield in an instant. Nobody around me could believe that ball didn't make it out but Span was camped out right at the 402 sign. 10 feet either way and both of them were at least doubles off the wall, if not out.

I actually told my Dad the same thing yesterday.
