You've only been on here since early last year and most of your predictions involve things that have yet to happen......you haven't had a chance to be proven wrong yet.
Obviously, the one big one that has come to fruition where you were so unbelievably arrogant, condescending and cocky was North going no later than the 4th round.....after saying there was absolutely no way that he would declare for the draft because he wants to go to law school.
That being said, beyond your predictions, you're routinely wrong with nearly every post regarding how Dobbs is the best QB in country, how Hurd is the best running back in the country, how Stephen Griffin is a stud and likely starter at safety this year, etc, etc. While Dobbs and Hurd are outstanding and Griffin does have very good potential, none of those are true.
2017- Barnett yes and maybe Sutton. Neither Dobbs nor Hurd
2018- Wolf is not first round talent. The others definitely are, but talent alone doesn't guarantee it. Bama's 2 stud DTs this past year were first round talent who weren't picked til round 2.
2019- first round type talent, no way to know where they'll be picked.
Others- Griffin can't get on the field right now.
only first rounders from Tennessee next year will be...
1)cam sutton
2)derek barnett
3) maybe jalen hurd but most likely 2-3 rounder he needs a big year if he can start breaking away from defenders he can sneak in the 1st round.
if dobbs get drafted thats a big if will be a late round and a team just taking a chance on him because how smart he is.
I'll make another prediction.
Dobbs, Hurd, and Sutton will all be picked BEFORE Barnett.
Barnett actually the guy I feel the least confident about next year. He's a productive college player but I think he could fall in the draft once the scouts start prodding his size and athleticism. I think he's most similar to Shaq Lawson (from Clemson) this past season who went #19 overall.
Dobbs, Hurd, and Sutton should all be top 15 picks easily.
And FYI Ethan Wolf is a first round talent. But he might fall to the second because our offense doesn't give him many oppourtunities in the pass. Regardless of where he's drafted, I predict he has a pro career like Greg Olsen.
So, just out of curiosity, do you believe that JD is good enough right now to be drafted in the first round of an NFL draft, or are you confident that he will develop and mature enough in the coming season to do so?
Well here is my prediction.
Sutton MIGHT be a top 15 pick if he has a phenomenal year. I'm leaning more towards late 1st early 2nd.
Dobbs 3rd-5th with an improved year in the passing stats. Hurd will have a tough time getting picked up in the 1st with the amount of elite RB prospects this year. Not saying he can't with Heisman type numbers, but I don't believe he goes that high.
Both.
I know talent when I see it so I would take Dobbs in the 1st round right now.
But I'm also projecting saying he will develop and mature enough this year to where he becomes a CONSENSUS first round talent.
Dobbs will have a HUGE season this year. Couple that with our run to a national title, and you have the formula for a first round draft pick.
One more things. He struggles on Long passes because he waits until the wreciever is completely open and turned around. Deep balls you throw before the wreciever turns around. His best pass was to josh Malone on the right side because he threw before the play developed. Everything is about seeing things before it happens.
Seriously? Have you been living under a rock the last few threads? Please do not make comments if you don't understand the underlying context. Move along.
Just for curiosity sake, and I am being completely serious, but why do you believe you have so much talent scouting college players?
Did you play college football yourself? Did you earn a degree in sports management? I guess I'm just asking what qualifications do you have?
Yeah....I know all about it.. .so if you're butt hurt about it......why stir the Sh*t up. Let it ride. Now tell me to move along some more..Pops.
I've always followed the draft and almost every player I've ever had a good feeling about has panned out. Guys I didn't like who others did typically became busts.
So it's really success from my past that makes me confident in the future.
If Josh Dobbs is drafted, I don't see him going any higher than 5th round. Reason, see Tyrod Taylor.

+1.
Based in his EXISTING body of work, I am not even confident he'd get an UFA camp invitation.
The first and, by far, most important characteristic of an NFL QB is the ability to throw the ball quickly, confidently and VERY accurately with a very high level of consistency.
Dobbs simply hasn't done that.
Ok, so you had a good feeling. But what qualifications do you have that gives you the ability to see talent when many others on this board supposedly do not? Just asking for curiosity sake.
I agree. Dobbs would need a gigantic year to go 1st round (even then, IMO, he goes later).
I think of Geno Smith. Similar size and athleticism (although he isn't the runner Dobbs is). He put up monster passing numbers his junior and senior season at WVU and was still only drafted 2nd rd.
