'26 ASU Transfer QB Sam Leavitt

He’s well informed. Kids change their minds all the time though. Especially if he balls out tonight
Lots of rumors that he might go back just to avoid being drafted by teams in that range, namely the Jets. Seems financially ill advised to me but multiple draft related people I read/listen have said that same thing. Could all just be regurgitating each other and there’s no truth behind it but it isn’t just one random twitter account or something putting it out there

Idk if you're trying to be funny or not. But as someone who's Dad recently passed from a brain tumor. That sh!t isnt funny at all. Lucky you're behind a screen name far as im concerned🤷‍♂️
Sorry for the crude joke, and your loss. May his memory forever be a blessing to you.

Joey needs to stop punting the ball 20 yards for no explicable reason.

Dude is scared of our schedule next year with 6 or 7 teams whose roster talent is ranked top25 on the 247 composite. 9 SEC games plus GT. He can go to Oregon and only play 2 teams that are ranked all year. He can sleepwalk to 10-2 and a playoff berth just by beating the teams they are favored to beat. Oregon QB Moore probably leaves bc this is a weak draft at the QB position which will get him drafted higher...

You all are silly.” (Well, not all…😉). They can’t know if Joey comes back until a judge decides. Sam is taking all his visits, always was. Bringing in another QB is smart because everything is fluid. Do we expect them to twittle their thumbs while Sam is in Miami and wait all weekend for a judge to decide…?

Sorry about your dad. My middle son is 20 months cancer free after given 2-3 years to live. Some things you just don’t joke about, even if no ill will intended. I don’t think the poster meant any ill will. Still makes me lightheaded to look at his images.

I've heard that theory, too, but those same garbage teams will be right there at the top of the draft next year, too. Mendoza is going to one of them, but there is always going to be a bad team at the the top of the draft. It's a silly thought on his part to think otherwise. The top of the draft (top 5 picks) will always include some combo of the Jets, Browns, Raiders, Titans...some of the worst run franchises in the NFL. Only the Titans have a viable QB, today, and that is perhaps still in question. His real question should be, do I want to get paid millions and get a head start on contract #2, now, or wait a year getting paid millions (but less), risk injury, and still probably end up playing for one of the teams I'm currently trying to avoid?

I FEAR that the only way he turns down his other options is if we seriously out bid the rest which probably means we drastically OVER pay. Can’t believe we want to spend our money that way.

Good to be in the discussion and get perceived as a player, but not going to approach the edge of the bridge if he has another favorite win and take the injury risk with that foot.

Maybe we just don’t want to publicize we are backing away while supplying additional leverage to drive up his cost for the winner.

Need all the money we can get for defense and a couple of bargain offensive guys.
