Yes and no. Biscuits are a 13th century delicacy eaten by slaves of the Old Republic. Gravy back then was the cooking scraps of the upper caste of whichever country we're talking about, and it was a good inexpensive way to feed your slaves.

I don't wear skirts. I don't even wear flip flops with it's 140 degrees outside. I do wear shorts, though. They are convenient, and can be put on without taking your shoes off, in a pinch.
